Will there be performances for the workshop? Absolutely! We believe in celebrating the progress of each participant. At the end of the workshop, there will be a "Share-Day" where the young actors can shine and share their newfound talents with family and friends inside the classroom. (Thursday, April 11) Further details will be provided as we get closer to that date.
My child has never acted or been involved in the theatre arts before. Will this workshop be a good fit? Yes! Our workshop is the perfect place for beginners to shine and seasoned performers to soar. We celebrate every level of experience, making it a welcoming stage for everyone to discover the magic of theatre together.
I have a student who is younger/older than the 7-12 age requirement who wants to participate. Are there any workshops offered for younger/older students? Certainly! We currently focus on the age group of 6-12 for our workshops. Unfortunately, due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, our youth program faced challenges. We're in the process of rebuilding, and for now, we're concentrating on ensuring a successful first run with the 6-12 age group. Our hope is to expand and include different age groups in the future. With the support of our community, we believe we can revive and enhance our program. We truly appreciate your commitment and patience as we navigate this journey together.
What is your refund policy? WCT will refund program fees for cancellations made 2 weeks (Thursday, February 1) to the start of the session. No refund will be made for late arrivals or early departures, withdrawal, dismissal, or sickness. We’re sorry, but we cannot offer refunds or credits to families instructed or choosing to quarantine due to household exposure/suspected exposure. Lost time (including illness or vacation) cannot be made up in other sessions.
Are scholarships and payment plan options available for the workshop? We are committed to making our programs accessible to all. Please inquire about our scholarship opportunities and financial aid programs, as we strive to ensure that no one is excluded due to financial constraints.
