Thank you for your interest in auditions for Washington Community Theatre's production of "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR". Show dates are June 25 - 30, 2024 at the Washington Park Main Pavilion. 
*Scheduled auditions are preferred but walk-in auditions are always welcome!

All roles are available and WCT is committed to diversity in casting. 
​All persons ages 16 and older are encouraged to audition regardless of previous experience.

AUDITION INFORMATION:

WHO: Individuals auditioning must be 16 years or older to be cast in the production.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 20, (6:30p - 9:30p) AND Saturday, February 24 (10a - 1p)​**POTENTIAL CALLBACK: Sunday, February 25 (2p -4p) at First Presbyterian Church

WHERE: 1st Presbyterian Church; lower entrance (100 E. Wheeling Street, Washington PA 15301)

HOW: ​

1. Schedule an audition by clicking the "AUDITION SIGN-UP" button below. 
2. Fill out the 'Digital Audition Form" by clicking the "DIGITAL AUDITION FORM" button below.
3. Review the "Audition Preparation" information listed below.  ​ ​​

AUDITION PREPARATION:  

• Digital Audition Form: Please complete the digital audition form before attending your scheduled audition. (CLICK HERE TO ACCESS DIGITAL AUDITION FORM) 
• Paperwork: Please bring a resume and headshot.
• Song: 16-32 bars of a POP or ROCK musical theater or contemporary song showcasing vocal range, pop/rock tone, and your personality.  Accompanist will be provided. No acapella auditions.
• Monologue: You do not need to prepare a monologue. Cold-reads will only take place at callback auditions.
• Dance: Dance-calls will only take place at callback auditions. 
• Video Audition: Alternative video auditions will be permitted on a circumstantial basis. Video submissions must be emailed to: [email protected] with the subject line “JCS Audition” no later than Thursday, February 22.

CASTING:
Cast will be announced Sunday, February 25 via phone call. An initial cast meeting and read-through is tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 1 at 7 PM (1st Presbyterian Church, 100 E Wheeling St., Washington, PA)
