CURTAINS | June 24 - 28
Thank you for your interest in auditions for Washington Community Theatre's production of CURTAINS. Show dates are June 24 - 28, 2020 at the Washington Park Main Pavillion. Auditions will be held March 23 & 24 at 1st Presbyterian Church (100 E. Wheeling St. Washington, PA 15301). We will be seeing 10 auditionees per half hour time slot. You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your audition time to sign in. Everyone who wants to be in the show MUST sign up for an audition slot, even if you only want to be in the ensemble. You must be 16 years or older to audition. Please Bring: a 32 bar cut of a song (please bring sheet music), a headshot and resume if possible, and a completed Audition Application. About the Audition
- We will call you in one at a time.
- If you are late, we will try to fit you into the next group.
- When you enter the room, hand your sheet music to the accompanist, stand on the “X” and tell us your name and what you will be singing.
- If we need to hear another 32 bar cut, we will let you know.
- If we would like you to do a cold reading, we will let you know.
About Rehearsals
- Rehearsal dates and times will be primarily Monday thru Thursdays, 6:45-9:00pm.
- Weekend rehearsals will not be scheduled until late June.
- Musical Director (Dennis Taylor) and Choreographer (Elizabeth Nicodemus) may want to schedule rehearsal time with individuals or groups for additional dates.
