Benjamin Zyra (Shroeder)
Benjamin is excited to make his stage debut at Washington Community Theatre. He has dabbled on stage previously in Waynesburg performing in the roles of Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors" and Jesus in "Cotton Patch Gospel". Ben would like to thank the very talented cast and crew of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," for giving him this opportunity. More importantly he would like to thank his beautiful wife, Alaina, in supporting him in this endeavor and watching the crazy whirlwind of wind and teeth that is their new puppy Pepper.
Chelsea Contino Eicher (ensemble)
Chelsea is excited to perform alongside her wonderful, talented castmates and friends! This is her second show with WCT; her first was this past summer's production of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.' She loves all things theatre and dance, having spent her high school years dancing at the Sandra Kay Mesler Dance Studio and participating in her school's drama club, acting in shows such as Fiddler on the Roof and Godspell. When she isn't teaching dance at the Washington Dance Center, she works in nonprofit communications.
Macy Gross - (Featured Dancer)
Macy currently resides in Washington, PA, and is a Cal U graduate. You’re Good Man Charlie Brown is Macy's fifth show with WCT. Previous shows Macy has been in include Urinetown (Ensemble), Hairspray (Dancer/Brenda), Mamma Mia (Dancer), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Panacea). Macy is super excited to be in her very first fall production with WCT! “Enjoy the show!!”
KAYLEIGH STULTZ (Lucy Van Pelt) recently played "Philia" in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (WCT), "Witch" in Into the Woods (WCT), and "Sophie" in Mamma Mia (WCT). She is thrilled to take the stage once again with Washington Community Theatre amongst an incredible cast and production crew. She thanks her husband, Matt and their dog, Bagel, for their constant support and patience throughout the production process. She gives many thanks to her family and friends for their continued encouragement of her passions!
EJ Christopher (Director) is thrilled to make his WCT-directing debut with such an incredible group of theatre artists! EJ received his B.A. in Theatre (w/ a Concentration in Musical Theatre) from PennWest California in 2021 and is now a Teaching Artist for the non-profit organization Dance Ink, LLC based in Carnegie. Directing credits include but aren't limited to Doubt: A Parable, Saving the Greeks: One Tragedy at a Time, and the band Water Fountain Coins' latest music video “Twenties”. EJ would like to thank his family and WCT for all the love and immense support tackling his first time directing a musical. He hopes you not only enjoy the show, but to take something from this piece and bring "happiness" to someone, anyone - today and every day.
Jordan Hightower (Snoopy) is excited to perform with WCT as a newcomer. A graduate of The University of Dayton's Theatre department, Jordan started the post lock down theatre journey with the Pittsburgh area premier production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn at The Strand Theater. Some other credits include Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest and Daughter of General Stanley in The Pirates of Penzance with the Pittsburgh Savoyards. Jordan has also starred in a number of local films including Don't Listen with Black Moose Productions. Jordan wants to thank the wonderful Peanuts and WCT family for being so welcoming and warm. Jordan would also like to extend thanks to the fantastic audience who help keep theatre alive and continuing the demand for live performances. Enjoy the show!
Dennis Taylor (musical director) - This is Dennis' third go-round with Charlie Brown. Long ago and not too far away he was Schroeder and then CB. This time he gets to teach the music. Happiness truly is working with this wonderfully talented cast and crew!
Katie Evans (Sally Brown)
Katie is thrilled to be back on the stage with WCT as a part of this fantastic cast! Past favorite roles have included Baker’s Wife (“Into the Woods”, 2021), Cinderella, (“Cinderella”, 2012), Peron’s Mistress (“Evita”, 2011). Katie has been delighted to have been a part of many other WCT productions over the last 15 years. Many thanks to friends and family, especially George, Alex, Logan, Mom and Sally for being the biggest fans and supporters! Dalton Ward (Linus) - has been performing in plays since 2014. He was a member of the Fort Cherry Jr/Sr. High School theater department and participated in 5 plays, having lead roles as Lord Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and as Linus in
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Dalton has been performing with WCT since 2018, appearing in Hairspray, Mamma Mia, and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. He is a recent cum laude graduate of CCAC
with an Associate Degree in Acting and plans to continue to pursue his goal of becoming a full-time, paid actor. He loves the WCT family and is excited to be reprising his role as Linus. Dalton is proud to be a part of such an amazing group and hopes to continue performing with them for many years.
Destiny Cumberland (Stage Manager) is new to WCT this year, holding several previous stage management positions in California, PA. Some of her favorite credits include Saving the Greeks: One Tragedy at a Time, Into the Woods, HONK! Jr., and Exit, Pursued by a Bear. Destiny is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration, while serving as a graduate assistant for PennWest California's theatre program and works as an administrative assistant for the Mon Valley Performing Arts Academy. In 2021, she completed her largest endeavor as a Marketing and Production Assistant intern for The Space Theatre in London, England. Destiny would like to thank everyone at WCT for welcoming her with open arms, as well as her amazing parents, grandparents, and boyfriend for their never-ending support and encouragement.
Andrew Mours (Charlie Brown)
Andrew still can’t quite believe this is happening. He is thrilled to join the WCT for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown - his first show in over a decade - and to have the opportunity to play Charlie Brown. When he’s not treading the boards, you can hear Andrew singing with the Renaissance City Choir, making funny voices on various podcasts, or sighing contentedly surrounded by his gaggle of kids.
Dalton Psomas (Props) is a recent graduate from Penn West California. He is happy to be continuing his craft. His most recent works include The Drowsy Chaperone (Prop designer), The Legend(s) of Sleepy Hallow (ASM), and Evening of Creativity (Prop Designer). He would like to thank his friends and family for their continuing support.
