​AUDITIONS 

Auditions for The Wizard of Oz are now closed. Stay tuned for our cast announcement!

Wednesday, March 12, 2025 | 6-9:00 PM
Saturday, March 15, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Performances will take place June 24th – 29th at the Main Pavilion in Washington Park with rehearsals tentatively planned starting March 23rd.

​If cast, you will be asked to become a member of Washington Community Theatre and volunteer time to assist with set load-in and/or construction.
*Scheduled auditions are preferred but walk-in auditions are always welcome!

All roles are available and WCT is committed to diversity in casting. 
​All persons ages 8 and older are encouraged to audition regardless of previous experience.

AUDITION PREPARATION:  

• Digital Audition Form: Please complete the digital audition form before attending your scheduled audition. (CLICK HERE TO ACCESS DIGITAL AUDITION FORM) 
• Paperwork: Please bring a resume and headshot.
• Song: prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre style song with as well as a contrasting backup cut for adults.​ No acapella auditions.
• Monologue: You do not need to prepare a monologue. Cold-reads will only take place at callback auditions.
• Dance: Dance-calls will only take place at callback auditions. ​​

AUDITION INFORMATION

WHO: 
Individuals auditioning must be 8 years or older to be cast in the production. (Children must have reached their 8th birthday prior to 3/15/25.)

WHEN:
Wednesday, March 12th from 6PM – 9PM
Saturday, March 15th from 10AM - 12PM (individuals ages 8-18 years old) and 12PM – 2PM (adults).
Callbacks
Sunday, March 16th (Callbacks may include a reading from the script and a dance call.)

Audition Dates:
Wednesday, March 12 (6PM - 9PM)
Saturday, March 15 (10AM - 12PM for children) & (12PM - 2PM for adults)

• Children must have reached their 8th birthday prior to 3/15/25.
• ​Auditions will be held at First Presbyterian Church (100 East Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301)​
