KISS ME, KATE! | June 20 - 25

Thank you for your interest in auditions for Washington Community Theatre's production of "KISS ME, KATE!" Show dates are June 20 - 25, 2023 at the Washington Park Main Pavilion. 
*Scheduled auditions are preferred but walk-in auditions are always welcome!

All roles are available and WCT is committed to diversity in casting. 
Everyone is encouraged to audition regardless of previous experience. In addition, the director would like to cast 3 to 10 young actors (ages 10+) for additional ensemble roles.

AUDITION INFORMATION:

WHO: Main roles and ensemble ages 18+. Youth ensemble ages 10+. (​3 to 10 young actors (ages 10+) for additional ensemble roles.)

WHEN: Saturday, March 4 (11a - 3p) and Sunday, March 5 (1p -5p)

WHERE: 1st Presbyterian Church (100 E. Wheeling Street, Washington PA 15301)
​**POTENTIAL CALLBACK: Saturday, March 11 at First Presbyterian Church from 3p -5p.

HOW: ​

1. Schedule an audition by clicking the "AUDITION SIGN-UP" button below. *Scheduled auditions are preferred but walk-in auditions are always welcome!

AUDITION PREPARATION:  

• Digital Audition Form: Please complete the digital audition form before attending your scheduled audition. (CLICK HERE TO ACCESS DIGITAL AUDITION FORM) 
• Paperwork: You will have the option to digitally upload your resume in the Digital Audition Form. You may bring a headshot to your audition if available. 
• Song: 16-32 bars of a classic or contemporary musical theater number showcasing vocal range and your personality.  Accompanist will be provided or you may use a rehearsal track.
• Monologue: You do not need to prepare a monologue. You may be asked to read a scene from the show.
• Dance: You may be asked to remain after to work with the Choreographer.  Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
• Video Audition: Alternative video auditions will be permitted on a circumstantial basis. Video submissions must be emailed to: washingtoncommunitytheatreinc@gmail.com with the subject line “Kiss Me Kate Audition” no later than March 8.

CASTING:
Cast will be announced shortly after callback auditions. An initial cast meeting and read-thru is tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 24th at 7 PM (1st Presbyterian Church, 100 E Wheeling St., Washington, PA)
